ViewSonic VT2430 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV

After reading some of the reviews I went out and ordered this ViewSonic VT2430 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV. It really performs the 1080p high definition. If you have no experience with HDTVs let me tell you that all hdtvs have a view area. And depending of your location I mean higher or lower, your picture experience will be different.

I noticed my church is using this TV with the Wii systems for the kids. And they performed very well. And plus I like the logo with the birds.

After I set it up, it went into a restart circle mode. So after reading the manual I turned off the SRS sound system. This was the problem. So listen to me and when you buy this ViewSonic VT2430 don't turn on the SRS surround sound.   Oh, and before I forget the customer service over the phone is the meeting my expectations. They seemed to be very slow to answer my questions over the phone. Probably located in india?

I have this ViewSonic VT2430 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV in my bedroom and I don’t quite need high volume with it. I enjoy the sound at 17 and this is only the minimal capacity of the total volume. The sound quality is not so good and if you want you can run the audio cable to an external sound. I also hooked up my BD player with the HDMI connection.  Blue ray movies combine very well with this hdtv. Also it come with a built in QAM turner that get the OTA high definition. And the channels are nice quality.

I had to hang this ViewSonic VT2430 up  on the wall because I have little space in my room. I really don’t need a bigger screen since I watch it very close to it. Keep in mind that this runs on 60 cycle meaning that on fast action screens there is little bluring. But nothing to be worried about.

It took time for me to get used to the remote control. Even the format is not ergonomic, all the menu buttons are comfortably located and easy to use.

I had a hard time hooking up my PS3 because I had to disable all other picture sizes but the 1080p. this is because the menu default is at 720p. I enjoy playing little big planet, saint's row and borderlands.  And this ViewSonic VT2430 24-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV is perfect for my games.

And the best things is that this is only $256. I definitely recommend it. It is worth the money.
